Fostering is one of the most worthwhile and rewarding challenges you can undertake.

Foster carers are called upon to perform an extremely difficult role to a professional standard.

Who Fosters

There is no such thing as a
typical foster carer or foster child.

We are looking for families to provide a safe and caring environment for vulnerable and disadvantaged youngsters – it is that simple.

Our only fixed criteria is that you have a spare bedroom.

What you will need

Patience, understanding, caring, sympathy, sensitivity and dedication Mixed with the ability to guide and discipline where appropriate.

Rural Foster Care provides

• Comprehensive training & development program
• Support 24 hours a day 7 days a week from our team of qualified and experienced social workers
• Tax advice
• Respite
• Financial rewards ranging between £275 - £600 per week (dependent on fostering experience & placement type)

Rural Foster Care encourages Carers to take an active role and participate in the development of the Company, its services, policies and procedures. We have developed internal support networks of carers and support workers who meet on a regular basis.
